Message from Prof Savitri Bevinakoppa, Conference General Chair
Welcome to the inaugural International Conference on Emerging Technologies and Education, proudly hosted by Melbourne Institute of Technology (MIT). This landmark event brings together a global community of researchers, educators and industry professionals to explore the transformative impact of technology on education, business and society.
Our conference is built around a diverse set of research themes that reflect the dynamic and rapidly evolving landscape of innovation:
- Cybersecurity: Safeguarding digital learning environments and institutional data.
- Data Analytics: Leveraging data to enhance decision-making, student outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Computer Networking: Enabling robust and scalable infrastructure for digital education.
- Management & Accounting: Exploring digital transformation in business education and practice.
- Generative AI in Assessment: Investigating the role of GenAI in reshaping assessment design, delivery and integrity.
- Emerging Technologies in Learning & Teaching (L&T): Examining tools such as AR/VR, blockchain and IoT in enhancing engagement and pedagogy.
- Academic Integrity: Addressing ethical challenges and promoting responsible use of AI and digital tools in education.
In addition to these themes, we spotlight broader areas such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cloud Computing and Digital Transformation in Business. A key focus is the integration of AI in education, from intelligent tutoring systems and adaptive learning platforms to the ethical implications of GenAI in teaching and research.
We are pleased to announce that selected high-quality papers will be invited for publication in a special issue of a peer-reviewed MDPI journal, providing a valuable opportunity to extend the reach and impact of your work.
We look forward to a vibrant exchange of ideas, meaningful collaborations and innovative insights that will shape the next frontier of technology and education.
